An ongoing project with 24 is keeping track of the swath of death and destruction Jack Bauer blazes on his quest to protect America. At the time of this writing he has killed 268 people on-screen in the show. Let's see how much I can add to that playing him at C&C. Only 'on-screen' (played out) kills of human or otherwise sentient opponents will be counted.

1. Elderly ghoul (bare hands): During the undead plague, Jack took down this former senior citizen by snapping its neck.

2. Ghoul #2 (HK USP Compact): Jack pistol-whipped its skull in as he met up with Alyx.

3. Cult of the Damned member (HK MP-5): Jack shot him in the chest during the raid on the Cult's meeting place.

4. HIVE gunman #1 (M-16): Jack shot him during an attack on a HIVE roadblock.

5. HIVE gunman #2 (M-16): Jack shot him during an attack on a HIVE roadblock.

6. HIVE grenadier (M-16): Jack shot him during an attack on a HIVE roadblock after he almost killed Jack with a grenade.

7. HIVE RPG launcher (M-16): Jack shot him after he almost hit him and Yusuke with a rocket.

8. HIVE roadblock announcer (Knife): Despite being crippled by Dust, he still tackled Jack and tried to strangle him. Jack stabbed him in the neck.

9. Arms dealing gunman (HK MP-5): During the raid on the warehouse, he blocked Jack's path up the stairs and tried to shoot him. Jack fired first, and he toppled over the railing to his death.

10. Joker goon #1 (SUV): Jack made his entrance to the battle at Times Square by hitting him with his SUV, killing him.

11. Flamethrower terrorist (Seras' Glock 19): This terrorist threatened to incinerate the building Jack and his comrades were taking cover in. Jack managed to shoot him through the eye with the weapon Seras gave him a moment before he fired the flamethrower.

12. Hotel attacker #1 (HK USP Compact): Jack shot him twice through the window as he was trying to break into Jack's hotel room.

13. Hotel attacker #2 (HK USP Compact): Two hitmen were already outside when Jack tried to escape his room. He gunned them down, but the delay left him open to a grenade attack seconds later.

14. Hotel attacker #3 (HK USP Compact): The partner of attacker #2, shot at the same time by Jack.

15. Hotel attacker #4 (HK USP Compact): Jack shot him after he climbed through the window into the hotel room.

16. Hotel attacker #5 (HK USP Compact): By this time Jack was almost out of ammunition and holed up in a room with no exit. He took one last attacker down before being captured.

17. Ramon Arius (legs): After Jack was captured, corrupt resort owner Ramon Arius tortured him as revenge for his interrogation. Jack was hanging from the ceiling when the Dependables' attack on the resort began, giving him the opportunity he needed to snap Arius' neck with his legs.

18. Ramon Arius henchman #1 (SIG P228): The noise Jack made while freeing himself caused these two suited bodyguards to enter the room, only to be shot by Jack using Arius' own gun.

19. Ramon Arius henchman #2 (SIG P228): After killing this henchman, Jack took his gun and his pants.

20. Blue Eclipse mercenary #1 (SIG P228 x2): Dual-wielding his captured pistols, Jack gunned down two mercenaries as he exited the maintenance building.

21. Blue Eclipse mercenary #2 (SIG P228 x2): Shot at the same time as #1, both of them went over a railing.

22. Resort mobster (HK-G36): Jack shot this vacationing crook while he was shooting at Jack from behind a bench.

23. Brazilian gang member (HK-G36): Jack shot him while taking cover next to a toolshed.

24. Blue Eclipse mercenary #3 (Remington 870 shotgun): After he and Sheldon broke their riot shield formation by shooting a fire extinguisher, Jack shot this member of Bravo Team with a captured shotgun.

25. Blue Eclipse mercenary #4 (Remington 870 shotgun): Jack shot this mercenary in the lobby of the resort's administrative building, a split-second before he could shoot Jack.

26. Blue Eclipse mercenary #5 (Remington 870 shotgun): This guard was killed by Jack when he and Sheldon stormed the command post.

27. Joker mercenary #1 (HK MP-7): Hired by the Joker to commit a massacre at a mall, this man was shot to death by Jack when the police ambushed him and his cronies.

28. Joker mercenary #2 (HK MP-7): Shot by Jack before he had to reload.

29. Joker hostage-taker #1 (HK USP Compact with silencer): Shot in the head during the rescue of the hostages in a high-rise office building.

30. Joker hostage-taker #2 (HK USP Compact with silencer): Shot in the neck a moment later.

31. Joker hostage-taker #3 (HK USP Compact with silencer): The triggerman for the terrorists' explosives, he attempted to detonate them only to discover that Raimi had disarmed them. Jack shot him in the eye.

32. Keith Anyan (Bare hands): Jack tracked rogue police officer Keith Anyan to a deserted antique store after his failed attempt at destroying the Porter. A brutal hand-to-hand struggle ensued, and Jack was forced to kill Keith in self-defense by breaking his neck. He was the first Import Jack killed.

33. Marcus Gyrich (HK USP Compact): Anti-Import bigot and former Cameron Hodge associate Marcus Gyrich led a mob in attacking Jack and Geddoe. Jack shot him dead after he tried to kill him with a revolver.

34. Roadblock shooter #1 (Remington 700P): Jack sniped him after distracting him with his SUV.

35. Roadblock shooter #2 (Remington 700P): Sniped by Jack after his partner was shot.

36. Vulcanus agent #1 (AKS-74u): Jack shot him at a run during the assault on Hojere base. It took four rounds from an AK to pierce this man's body armour, prompting Jack to take his weapon.

37. Vulcanus agent #2 (Vulcanus plasma shooter): Jack picked up one of the enemy plasma weapons and immediately found that it was capable of easily defeating their armour when he shot this agent in the chest, killing him instantly.

38. Vulcanus agent #3 (Vulcanus plasma shooter): This man was taking cover while trying to keep Jack from downloading and wiping Vulcanus' computer data. Jack wasn't able to hit him directly, so he targeted a nearby chemical tank, dousing the agent with a high-pressure spray of poison. This brought him stumbling out of cover, where Jack killed him by shooting him with the plasma weapon.

39. Grave Digger #1 (Helicopter stun cannons): Jack partially vaporized this Tear Drinker during the attack on City Hall. It was the first time he had ever used the lethal settings on his helicopter's weapons.

41. Unidentified Zero's Children member (SIG P226): Jack shot this man at the climax of a car chase, through the window of a van. It was an extrajudicial killing that was covered up.

42. Ivan Darov henchman #1 (HK USP Compact): This man was a Zero's Children member and part of assassin Ivan Darov's personal hit squad. Jack shot him dead at the beginning of a raid on an electronics store ZC was using as a front.

43. Ivan Darov henchman #2 (HK USP Compact): After Jack was shot by Darov during the gunfight, some of his minions moved in for the kill. Jack was able to shoot this man, making them back off.

44. Larry Lewis (HK USP Compact): The corrupt owner of an electronics store working with Zero's Children, Lewis hid in his office during the firefight. When Jack approached the door, he panicked, burst out, and started firing at Jack, and Jack shot him in the mouth.

45. Vlad Latanov (HK USP Compact): Head of the Zero's Children extortion racket in the City. Jack confronted him on a street late at night when he was making his rounds, and shot him after he drew a weapon.

46. Vlad Latanov henchman (HK USP Compact): An unidentified man providing backup to extortionist Vlad Latanov. Jack shot him along with his boss after he pulled a handgun.

47. Jersey Mob gunman #1 (HK USP Compact): This man was defending a stash of the deadly 'emulator' drug in a warehouse. Jack shot him on a catwalk after he and Samara breached the building.

48. Jersey Mob gunman #2 (HK USP Compact): Jack shot this man as he was firing at Samara while trying to call for help on his cell phone.

49. Zero's Children sentry (Knife): This man guarded the shipping company that was a front for the terrorist group's Command Cell in the City. While infiltrating the building, Jack crept up behind him and stabbed him in the heart.

50. Boris Kosoll (HK USP Compact with Silencer): Jack interrogated Kosoll, the head of Royal Shipping and Zero's Children in the City. When he tried to sound an alarm, Jack shot him in the heart.

51. Zero's Children Soldier #1 (Fragmentation Grenade): Jack began the attack on the Iron Crown by throwing a grenade at soldiers firing at the Dependables from the outer wall. This man was blown off the wall by the grenade to his death.

52. Zero's Children Soldier #2 (Fragmentation Grenade): Jack began the attack on the Iron Crown by throwing a grenade at soldiers firing at the Dependables from the outer wall, killing two of them.

53. Zero's Children Soldier #3 (C-4): This soldier was unfortunate enough to be on the other side of the gate when Jack blew it open. He was killed instantly.

54. Zero's Children Soldier #4 (M21 Sniper Rifle): Jack shot this man as he was fighting his way toward the base docks to steal a ship.

55. Zero's Children Soldier #5 (M21 Sniper Rifle): Jack shot this man as he was fighting his way toward the base docks to steal a ship.

56. Zero's Children Soldier #6 (M21 Sniper Rifle): Jack shot this man as he was fighting his way toward the base docks to steal a ship.

57. Zero's Children Soldier #7 (M21 Sniper Rifle): This soldier was firing at the ship from the cliffs during the getaway. Jack's return fire took out his leg, leading to him falling to his death.

58. Zero's Children Soldier #8 (HK MP-7): Jack entered the base supported by Seras' sniper fire. This soldier tried to stop him, and Jack gunned him down without breaking stride.

59. Zero's Children Soldier #9 (HK MP-7): Fired out the gulag window at Jack as he moved to blow the door. Jack's return fire took him out.

60. Zero's Children Soldier #10 (HK MP-7): Jack brought him down while providing cover fire for the Black Widow to assault the helipad.

61. Zero's Children Sailor #1 (HK USP Compact): During the battle to take the freighter, Jack shot a steam pipe to bring this man out of cover, then shot him in the head.

62. Zero's Children Sailor #2 (HK USP Compact): Shot by Jack after Seras got hit.

63. Zero's Children Soldier #11 (HK MP-7): Killed during the attack on the power station.

64. Technical gunner (FN Five Seven): Jack and Seras got into a firefight while trying to leave Southwest Phoenicia. Seras distracted this militiaman when she attacked another vehicle, and Jack took the chance to shoot him in the back.

65. Treifyu pirate #1 (Knife): Jack and Hogan Bight were taken to another world by the Porter and dumped into the middle of a knife-fight between pirates. Jack disarmed one adversary and used his weapon to kill a thug in self-defense.

66. Treifyu pirate #2 (Knife): Jack and Sanji intervened in a plundering by this pirate and his comrades. He pulled a revolver on Jack, who killed him by throwing a knife into his chest.

67. Treifyu pirate #3 (Revolver): This pirate attacked Jack with a spear gun while Jack was trying to cut a zip-line used in boarding a farming ship. He and Jack missed each other with their first shots, but Jack's second round struck him in the head, killing him.

68. Treifyu pirate #4 (Revolver): Jack shot this pirate in the back using his last bullet.

69. Reckoning gunman #1 (HK P2000): Searching for Jack during the NOHoPE takeover, this mercenary and his partner were ambushed by Jack using a fire extinguisher. Jack shot him dead with a captured handgun.

70. Reckoning gunman #2 (HK P2000): When the NOHoPE rescue began, Jack emerged from a closet and attacked two patrolling terrorists, shooting this man in the head.

71. Reckoning gunman #3 (HK P2000): When the NOHoPE rescue began, Jack emerged from a closet and attacked two patrolling terrorists, shooting this man twice in the throat.

72. Reckoning gunman #4 (HK P2000): Teleported along with Jack Bauer into Archer's "Reality Marble", this terrorist was shot by Jack at the same time as he and his comrades were cut down by a storm of Archer's swords.

73. Mark Agnes, AKA Marksman (Winchester Rifle): One of Vulcanus' artificial metahumans, assigned to kill Archer in the alternate-universe Western town of Capers. Marksman was about to finish off Archer when Jack intervened and shot him with a rifle Archer previously upgraded. Jack was mortally wounded in the exchange, making this superhuman the last death he was responsible for in Cape and Cowl.
